The Harvesting Tradition

The art of tea harvesting in Kenya is rooted in precision and care. Only the top two leaves and the bud are plucked by hand, ensuring the highest quality in every batch. Processing the Perfect Brew

Once harvested, the tea leaves are transported to state-of-the-art facilities for processing. Here, traditional and modern techniques blend seamlessly to create teas that range from vibrant black to earthy green and herbal blends. Every stage is overseen by experts who ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to the highest international standards. The process involves:

  • Withering: Reducing moisture to prepare the leaves for further processing.
  • Rolling: Enhancing flavour by breaking the leaf cells.
  • Fermentation (for black tea): Developing the signature bold taste and aroma.
  • Drying and Sorting: Locking in flavour and preparing the tea for packaging.
